About Me

My name is Patrick T. N. Gannon and this is my portfolio site. I designed it with the intention of creating an HTML-CSS, Responsive Design website with minimal JavaScript, that adheres to proper Semantic HTML and ARIA standards.

I first learned HTML and CSS in 2007 (Web Design Diploma) and, after more than two decades in Information Technology (I.T.) Support, I decided to transition into Web Development exclusively. In 2024, I completed a Full Stack Web Development certification program and have been building responsive websites and web apps using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, as well as continuing to take classes to further improve my skills, ever since. In addition to honing my ability to quickly and independently learn new skills, my I.T. Support background gives me a unique advantage: I understand both the technical and human side of software. Iā€™m comfortable supporting users, troubleshooting complex problems, and writing clean, efficient front-end code. I love taking on new challenges, learning new tools, and bringing order and usability to digital spaces (and physical spaces too !šŸ˜œ).

I am currently seeking an entry-level Frontend role where I can contribute meaningfully, keep learning, and grow as a developer.
